Kendriya Vidyalaya Karimnagar came into existence in 2011. Initially in a temporary accommodation at Durgabhai Mahila Shishu Vikasa Kendram ,LMD colony,Thimmapur in Karimnagar, the Vidyalaya shifted to its permanent building in October 2017, amidst serene atmosphere of LMD on river Manair. A Herbal Garden with a wide variety of medicinal plants is an additional attraction to the natural bounty around the Vidyalaya. The students and the staff contribute enthusiastically to the maintenance of greenery around the Vidyalaya. Swachta stands as top priority and students are motivated towards cleanliness of their surroundings and making the Vidyalaya a ‘No Plastic Zone’. The Vidyalaya runs classes: Pre Nursery – Balvatika 3, Primary – Class 1 to 5, Secondary – Classes 6 to 10 and Senior Secondary – Classes 11 & 12 with Science Stream. The Vidyalaya infrastructure has spacious Classrooms, Digital Classes with network connectivity, Computer Labs, digitalised Library, digital Language Lab, Laboratories for the Science Subjects, Maths Lab, spacious Play Ground and an installed RO system for potable water. Our experienced and caring faculty members are committed to provide personalised attention and support to every student. Through small class sizes, individualised instruction, we ensure that each student receives the guidance they need to excel academically and personally. Beyond academics, the Vidyalaya aims at all round development of the personality of the child through Co- Curricular Activities, Clubs, Sports & Games, Community Service Projects and Cultural Events, students have the opportunity to explore their interests, build friendships, and develop essential life skills.
